Australia is a destination that has something for everyone, and we encourage all visitors to extend their time in this vast and beautiful island nation. Australia is a safe and peaceful country, known for its warm, friendly people, unique native flora and fauna and diverse attractions. Details of pre- and post-Congress tours will be posted as they become available.

Melbourne is the capital of the south-eastern state of Victoria. A cosmopolitan and modern metropolis of four million people, Melbourne has been named the world’s Most Liveable City three times by the Economist since 2002.

Stylish, sophisticated and bold, yet open, inclusive and good-humoured: Melbourne is a rewarding destination well worth exploring. Undisputed as Australia’s event, sport, culture and food capital, Melbourne delivers the spectacular with the sublime, the blockbuster with the boutique.

The wide streets of inner Melbourne are easily navigated by foot and are well-served by public transport, including its famous trams. It is also an excellent base from which to explore the further attractions of Victoria.
Two excellent websites for getting a taste of Melbourne before you get here are That’s Melbourne and Visit Melbourne

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, our world congress venue, is superbly located right in the heart of Melbourne on the edge of the Yarra River. MCEC is Australia’s premier convention centre, the first to be awarded a ‘6 Star Green Star’ environmental rating and recipient of multiple awards for interior design.
