All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa before boarding their plane regardless of the length of stay.A valid passport is required to apply for a visa.

Customs regulations
Australia has strict customs and entry requirements. It is very important that you do not bring items to Australia that are not permitted and that you declare ALL food items on arrival. If you are not sure, join the ‘Items to declare’ line at the exit and ask the customs officer. There are severe penalties for failing to follow the rules.

Vaccinations
A current valid international certificate of inoculation against yellow fever is required if passengers come from, or travel through, infected areas. Check this carefully with your airline or travel agent before departure and seek medical advice.
