International market place
Continuing in the tradition of cultural exchange the International market place and book fair will take place over two days providing visiting overseas delegates with the opportunity to showcase products and resources from their country. Australia has some of the strongest quarantine measures in the world and items brought into Australia must comply with Australian quarantine laws. Participants will be required to comply with the requirements of the congress organisers and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Strictly no food items will be allowed.This is a member-driven non-commercial activity. Home Economics Victoria accepts no responsibility for the security or safety of items and any associated transactions.
All interested participants must be individual IFHE members and are required to pre-register with the congress organisers (Home Economics Victoria) via the designated registration form. The registration form will be available for download from 1 September 2011.
