Friday, 11 June 2010 07:29

All presenters and participants are encouraged to become involved with the congress theme Global creativity and innovation: Developing capacities for sustainable futures. The overarching focus of the congress is on global wellbeing, within a context of the transformative potential of home economics.

IFHE position paper: Home economics in the 21st century clarifies the dimensions and impact of the global home economics profession. The IFHE program committees are:

  • Food security and nutrition
  • Institutional and hospitality management
  • Home economics policies in education and training
  • IFHE international business group
  • Outreach to central and eastern European countries
